National Suicide Hotline

Today, July 16, 2020, we have enabled the new three-digit number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The FCC unanimously voted to make 988 the official number for free, confidential support to individuals in crisis.

Establishing the easy-to-remember 988 as the “911” for suicide prevention and mental health services will make it easier for Americans in crisis to access the help they need and decrease the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health issues.

Supporters hope that having a three-digit number will make it easier for those in need to access help. The FCC first proposed this change last August. Although telecommunications carriers and VoIP service providers have two years until this function must be enabled, we are not waiting. It’s been enabled at the global level for all our customers, effective immediately.

Our team is always staying ahead of the curve to ensure you have the best service!
